Row Count Plus Transformation

As the name suggests we have taken the concept of the stock Row Count Transform, recreated it and extended on functionality. The main enhancement is the addition of a new output, duration, which can be assigned to a variable in the same manner as row count.

From a usability perspective, the stock transform uses the default editor, so clearly there is room for improvement. Unless you are always very well organised when designing packages you will have opened the stock transform and forgotten the name of the variable, or even forgotten to create it. The Row Count Plus interface allows you to not only select from a list of available variables, but you can also create new variables to be selected there and then, without leaving the dialog.
